Kristiina Helin
I am a trained IFS/Internal Family Systems instructor (L1 and L2) and TIST/Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment instructor (L1 and L2). I guide my clients using the IFS method, but the TIST training brings an addition to my work that I feel is important when guiding clients who have experienced deep and long-lasting damaging stress states in their childhood.
Longtime trauma therapist Dr Janina Fisher developed the TIST model to address the treatment of dangerous and addictive behaviors from a trauma perspective.
I am one of the founders of the ongoing TIST supervision group, which started in 2020, where we TIST instructors and therapists are trained and supervised monthly. TIST and IFS are almost identical therapy models, i.e. both use the same language when talking about parts.
I live in the Netherlands and work in English, but I’m also happy to take Finnish online customers as soon as there’s space, feel free to contact me.

I’m a certified IFS practitioner. I work with people both in person (in Helsinki) and online, in English and Hungarian.
I believe in the healing power of IFS and I hope that through the work of this association it can become better known and more widely practiced in Finland.

I help men who struggle with emotional triggers build a deep loving connection with their partners by processing their emotions and expressing their boundaries. This involves changing dysfunctional trauma patterns from childhood.
My personal background involves meditation, ceremonies, spiritual practices, psychedelics, somatic work and dealing with physical pain. I’m an enthusiastic surfer and a happy father.
